Backup Solutions
for Desktop or Laptop

Your computer stores your photos, music and documents on its hard drive. Most hard drives have a life expectancy of 3 to 5 years.

If your hard drive dies, your photos, music and documents die with it — unless you were smart enough to set up a backup solution in advance.

Choose Local or Remote Backup

Local backups can be created on internal or external hard drives,CDs, DVDs or thumb drives.

If your hard drive dies, you will have access to all of your stored data.

If you buy a new computer or hard drive, you can restore your data from your local backup.
Remote backups are stored on a remote server. You can access your data on the remote server through your internet connection.

Most backup servers use a secure encrypted connection that decrypts only for your user name and password.

As your needs grow, you can add more space to your remote server.

You can access your photos and documents from any computer when you provide your unique user name and password.

If your hard drive dies, you will have access to all of your stored data. If you buy a new computer or hard drive, you can restore your data from your remote backup server.

Hard Disk Image – Ultimate Insurance

A computer's disk image is an exact duplicate of its hard disk drive. A disk image or clone drive should be created when your hard disk is healthy.

While backups store copies of your data, the disk image is intended to restore your computer's operating system, applications, application data, hardware drivers and email settings in the event of catastrophic disk damage.

The disk image can be created on a remote server or locally on a second hard drive. It can save hours of restoration.

Remote Backup/Storage

Backing up to a remote server is probably the safest way to go for most computer users. Putting your important data in the cloud protects it from theft, fire or water. And, of course, physical loss. Cloud storage can be used in addition to local backup for extra protection of your important photos and documents. Press Any Key provides remote backup for its clients.
