When your computer refuses to start up correctly or just starts behaving oddly, it's time for some troubleshooting.

Computer troubles may have their roots in software, hardware, or malware. They could be the result of virus infections, corrupted registry files, a failed hard disk drive, dead power supply, damaged memory...the list goes on.

Let a certified technician troubleshoot your computer. You can help by letting your technician know about any recent changes to your system.

Consider changes like those on the list below. The more information you provide, the easier and faster your fix will be.

Have you installed any new programs? Have any new programs, toolbars or icons installed themselves? Has there been had a power outage, power surge or lightning storm? Have you visited any nefarious websites? Has anything spilled on the computer or keyboard? Has any new hardware been added?

Have you seen strange popups or windows opening? Have the computer's normal sounds changed? Is startup or shutdown taking longer? Were there any recent updates? Did anyone open up the computer case? What error messages have been displayed?

Troubleshooting and diagnosis is available for $40 for a single desktop or laptop. If you decide to have the computer repaired, the diagnostic fee will be waived. The minimum repair fee of $40 covers the cost of many different repairs.
